I can’t think of a better title, so saturday will do.
Why is it, that when I finish my exams, the games I was playing don’t seem to interest me?

Oh well. Anyway, leaving Dublin for the summer tomorrow. I’m Hopefully going to have an active enough summer, hopefully I’ll make a decision about a final year project, and get started on something useful for it. My plans so far aree to get fully working gentoo installs on various machines at home. I want to put a file server in the attic, to get rid of the HD’s out my main computer. The one problem I am going to have with it though, is that attics get quite warm on the summer
I want to do an upgrade on my computer. I have a few options. I have access to a very good socket 939 board at a very good price. If I got with that, I’ll get a 3800+ X2. I’ll also need a new video card. My current HSF(XP120) will fit a 939 board.
I could wait for AM2, but It’s just not worth it all at the minute. The XP 120 will not fit it, as I have not yet heard of a kit to convert it yet.
Those 805’s on socket 775 are nice. It’ll be cheaper than AM2, and there is a kit for the XP120 for socket 775.
My current setup, in my opinion is not that bad, it does what I want it to do, so I might just hang on for a few months.

Another great thing about leaving this place is the electricty here is extremely bad. A light bulb last no more than about 2 months. That can’t be good for lots of things.
While I’m at it, I’ll this oppurtunity to name where I am, and not recommend it to anyone. Just in case any poor student are googling potential places to live in Dublin. There is about 4 different names from what it’s called. They are:

• Eli Property Management
